Sravan Patharla has over 22 years of experience working as a leader in Database and infrastructure technologies management.

Sravan currently manages and serves as a DBA manager for the Data Administration area for City of Indianapolis and Marion County. Sravan has held similar positions with Western Digital Corporation in Silicon Valley in the past.

Sravan leads organization’s data management, security, and migration initiatives while providing day-to-day direction for a team of database administrators and specialists.

Sravan’s role includes serving as a mentor, and in Strategic planning, management and lead implementations of complex database migrations and upgrades including multi-tier architecture hosted on-premises and cloud platforms on Windows and VM Clusters. Sravan is currently part of a technical leadership group that is planning and executing a complex Data Center migration to Hyper-Converged platform, Disaster Recovery, High Availability and Business Continuity solutions design and implementation. Sravan has had contributions in the area of design and development of complex Analytical OLAP Systems for Public data portals, data Harvesting and Analytical Processing.

Sravan routinely advises on technology initiatives in the Enterprise and in his spare time likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters. Sravan is currently pursuing Executive MBA with Purdue Krannert School of Management. Sravan also is actively involved in the community and serves on the board of various community organizations.
