Mel joined Clarivate in October 2020, following its acquisition of CPA Global, and in her new role she’s leading the companies digital-first transformation. Taking a data-driven and engagement-led approach, this will involve accelerating new ways of working – both where and how, new technologies and adoption of a digital-first mindset and culture that will support our strategic goals.

Mel is a passionate leader with a mindset that focuses on long-lasting change, growth, results and personal accountability. Believing culture and brand are one and the same, and aligning the two for the benefit of the people in the business and its customers – she creates positive cultures built on authentic values and inspired talent that delivers an excellent customer experience. Mel has worked and lived on four continents, and achieved a successful track record in a range of diverse multinational business environments and sectors with significant experience in M&A, building brands and talent across software, technology, outsourcing and services industries.

Prior to Clarivate, Mel was the Chief People & Brand Officer at CPA Global, leading the Strategic Growth Team driving Corporate Strategy, People, Brand, Culture and Communications. Previous company experience includes senior positions at Allegis Group, Williams Lea Tag and the Sage Group plc., with significant global experience across APAC, NA and EMEA.
