David L. Leach is Executive Director of Analytics & Artificial Intelligence at Cummins. In this role, David is responsible for leading the global data and analytics practice, including data management, data warehousing, business intelligence, data engineering, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities. In addition to directly leading the central advanced analytics organization, David also provides indirect support and leadership to advanced analytics practitioners across the broader enterprise.

Over the course of his career, David has led a variety of functions, including development and operation of Internet platforms, information security, supply chain, logistics, procurement, information technology, and data management. Immediately prior to joining Cummins, David build and led an award-winning data and analytics program for a global semiconductor company with annual revenue greater than USD $30B.

David joined Cummins in March 2018, reporting to the Chief Information Officer. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from Boise State University.
